After eventually getting the first airport x-ray machine into the lab (only to find out it didn’t work!) we have now taken delivery of a new one.  This has been kindly donated by Rapiscan for the duration of the CSI: project.  This is the first time an airport x-ray machine has been used for looking at archaeological objects so the conservators have to decide what settings will be best; drugs, money or fruit?  Come along to the lab and you might see it in action.
