Keck Award
CSI: Sittingbourne was awarded the Keck Award, a prestigious international conservation award, by the International Institute of Conservation in 2012. We shared the accolade with the highly respected Acropolis Museum in Athens. Watch the award presentation here.
Locating this project within a shopping mall is one of its greatest strengths – as an unusual ‘shop’, it raises curiosity amongst shoppers, is central to the town, and offers opportunity to many who might never visit museums/heritage material otherwise.
